Sauna

A barrel sauna session provides numerous benefits such as improving cardiovascular health, relieving muscle tension, promoting skin health through detoxification, and potentially enhancing overall mental wellbeing by providing a tranquil environment for relaxation.

BENEFITS

Our Barrel Steam Sauna is typically set to 150-175 degrees Fahrenheit. Traditional dry saunas increase the temperature by adding water to the heating sauna rocks – this heats the air in the room and adds humidity. Adding water to create steam is optional depending on your preference. This session can be booked on its own, before a massage/facial, or after a massage/facial!

Sauna may: ease muscle or joint pain, reduce stress levels, improve cardiovascular health, reduce skin problems such as acne or psoriasis, and other conditions.

It's best to have a chat with your doctor who can provide you with personalized advice on whether using the sauna would be a beneficial or not-so-great idea for your specific health situation. They're there to guide you and ensure your well-being, after all!

Steam saunas offer a variety of health benefits. Here's a brief overview:

Detoxification: The intense heat and humidity cause you to sweat, which helps to flush toxins from your body, promoting a healthy immune system.

Cardiovascular Health: The heat from a steam sauna increases heart rate and improves circulation, similar to the effects of a mild exercise, which may enhance cardiovascular health over time.

Respiratory Relief: The warm, moist air can alleviate congestion and improve breathing, which can be particularly beneficial for individuals with asthma or other respiratory conditions.

Muscle Relaxation and Pain Relief: The heat helps relax muscles, reducing tension and potentially easing pain, especially for those suffering from conditions such as arthritis.

Skin Health: The high humidity levels can help open up pores and improve skin hydration, leading to clearer, healthier skin.

Stress Relief: Spending time in a steam sauna can also be a great way to unwind and relieve stress, promoting overall mental well-being.Remember, while steam saunas can provide these benefits, it's always important to consult with a healthcare professional before beginning any new wellness regimen, especially for individuals with certain health conditions.

Benefits of Combining Sauna with Halotherapy and Float Therapy!

Immerse yourself in a multi-faceted wellness experience by combining float therapy, halotherapy, and sauna sessions. Begin with a float therapy session, where you can enjoy the sensation of weightlessness, effectively quieting the mind and body for an almost meditative state of relaxation and tranquility. By relieving the pressure of gravity, float therapy aids in stress reduction, improves sleep, and can even boost creativity. But don't stop there. Layer this experience with halotherapy, or salt therapy, to cleanse and rejuvenate your respiratory system. Known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, halotherapy can provide significant benefits, particularly for those with respiratory and skin conditions. Lastly, culminate your wellness journey with a sauna session. The intense heat aids in detoxification, improves cardiovascular health, and relaxes muscle tension, leaving you feeling rejuvenated from the inside out. These therapies, while wonderful individually, work even more synergistically to create an overall sense of well-being when combined. So why not treat yourself to this potent blend of relaxation and revitalization? Your body and mind will thank you.
